Heatworks has developed a revolutionary technology to heat conductive liquids using electricity. We often partner with companies to create new products or improve their existing ones using Heatworks’ patented heating technology. That process will usually involve some form of collaboration to develop prototypes to prove the performance requirements, develop the overall value proposition, then to proceed to a manufactured product, typically resulting in licensing or other revenue to Heatworks. The purpose of a Business Development Manager is to generate leads, sell the technological and business advantages, close the sale on NRE projects, lead the process from paid engineering to production, and manage customer’s timing and financial expectations along the way. The following job description represents a multi-skilled job classification of a successful Business Development Manager, and are the minimum knowledge, skills and competency requirements necessary for this position. These functions will be performed under limited supervision in a timely manner and with acceptable quality.

    • MBA degree and 5+ years’ experience or equivalent

    The embedded controls software engineer is responsible for architecture, design, development, testing, and maintenance. Applications include IoT implementations, firmware, security, data visualization, back-end, analog and digital signal processing and control, API development, and front-end development. The software engineer will interface with other disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, firmware, manufacturing and quality. The software engineer will report directly to the Director of Engineering.

      Job Duties:

      • Responsible for the development and implementation of code for Heatworks products and technologies
      • Plans, improves and manages programming from inception to use
      • Allocating resources to complete programming projects, and designing detailed plans to ensure the code is functioning properly
      • Preparation and creation of technical documentation
      • Debug, troubleshoot system level problems
      • Design new micro-services and APIs
      • Interface with electrical engineering on board level controls
      • Collaborate with engineering team on circuit design
      • Test coding on various hardware and cloud software platforms

        • Minimum Skills:
